It is the festive season
again. All around, it is colourful and
gay. Bright lights make the world more glorious. Delicious fragrances waft from
the kitchens. Shops are full of people buying and wrapping up gifts. Excitement
buzzes in the air.
In the midst of all this there
is also sorrow. There are countless people who don’t have money to buy gifts
for their family. There are many who don’t have money to buy or bake fragrant
cakes and sweets and cook a tasty dinner. There are some whose loved ones are
not around. Many who can afford to eat well are sick and have dietary restrictions.
If you are one of those who has
got gifts for the family but wants to go the extra mile, and one of those who
cannot afford gifts for the family or one of those who has everything but
wishes to gift himself something special, consider these gifts: a loving heart
that understands and embraces the other as he is, some extra time to help and
encourage the other, tolerance even when you don’t understand, charity – for it
always begins at home, a good example to all & above all love and respect
for yourself.
On this day when Christ was
born, the best gift you can give yourself and others is by being a better you.
Get rid of anything that is not beautiful or happy in you. The world is wondrous
when you change! Pray and Worship the Compassionate Supreme Power. Let the
grace and blessings of Christ flood into your life and the lives of all those around
you.
