Today, on the first day of the New Year, my blessings to you all that you are healthy, wealthy and happy and that you receive the right guidance in all that you are doing.
The start of the New Year gives us an opportunity to let go of the past pains and miseries and start again afresh. Look within yourselves and dump all the negativities of past and make a firm resolution regarding your personal self transformation. The power of SitaRam and the Grace of Guru will fuel your resolution and make it a success.
All change has to come from within. Resolve primarily to be more regular in your spiritual practices. Do your SitaRam Japa regularly and meditate daily. Be more resolute in your bhakti and surrender to God and Guru. The Guru Bhakta (the one who loves the Guru dearly) is always protected by the Guru and guided in the right direction.
The Guru is like the Sun. The Sun shines on everything impartially. Those who sit inside homes behind closed doors and windows will not receive any light or warmth. The Guru showers his grace and love impartially on all. Only those who do their daily japa and dhyan will receive the nectarine showers. Therefore resolve each day to increase your love and faith and be more disciplined in your practices and bask in the sunlight of the Guru’s love and grace. May the year 2012 bring you closer to your God and Guru.
